There is 'Immersion program' which is one of the teaching methods where you can freely write and speak what you think in English.
This program has come from Canada in 1906's and a tried and true teaching method. This is a way to teach multiple subjects in English such as social studies and science.
Through immersion program, children learn parts in English they're usually interested in.
There're upsides considering you can acquire information and acknowledge other than English.
In Korea, immersion program has been running in mostly private elementary schools and international middle and high schools and so on. In private institutes, they collaborate the program with foreign publishing company.
As a great example, teaching company, The Education, works together with Scholastic which is one of the biggest publishing companies for children's books and published Harry potter and hunger games and so on.
They're running English program like this at 30 branches of private institutes nationwide.
The class books of the English program The Education showed are not just about simple grammar or listening but about various subjects such as space science, society, history, economics and arts.
Shane Armstrong, CEO of Scholastic, explained kids don't use English books compiled by teacher, they read books written by worldwide well-known writers.
